Mike is great. Very knowledgeable about all Ireland. Knew exactly where to take us. Took us places better than where we wanted to go. Spent 9 days traveling all around Ireland with Mike. He’s an excellent driver too. He knew all the scenic routes. Never a dull moment. He helped my daughter and I even find long lost relatives. Even though he didn’t have to. He went out of his way for us. Always made sure we were comfortable. He gave us the best experience we could have had in Ireland. I would recommend Mike to everyone. Feel like a made a great friend.

My friend and I hired him for a Ring of Kerry day, with an added leg of dropping us off in Dingle at the end of the day. The weather was...not good...but we still had a great time - due to Michael and his warm personality, relaxed pacing, good driving of course, and interesting commentary on the sites. The van was clean and comfortable, and the wifi was useful. He was communicative during planning, picked us up right on time - he got all of the details right. We would definitely hire him again the next time we're in Killarney, which I hope is soon. Such a fun and lovely town.

Excellent Driver and Tour Guide

Hiring Killarney Driver was one of our best decisions we made while visiting Ireland!

We hired Michael Blake from Killarney Driver to drive us around the Ring of Kerry area while we were visiting Ireland. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) traveling to Ireland for the first time. We decided to hire a driver as none in our group wanted to drive there. We felt that if we drove there, the person driving would not enjoy the trip as much as they would be concentrating on driving and not just enjoying the scenery. That was a great decision. Michael picked us up from our AirBandB and was an excellent driver. We didn’t realize it when we booked him, but he was also an excellent tour guide. He’s from Killarney, so he knew loads about the area. He told us much about the history of the area as well as many interesting facts and stories. We were able to see and do so much more with Michael as our guide than we would ever have been able to do on our own.

Mike Blake has been by far the best driver we’ve had on our two week trip in Ireland.

He was kind, informative, friendly, flexible, and absolutely wonderful to have around. His food recommendations for lunch have been amazing!! His van is safe, has strong AC, and Wi-Fi! If I’d known sooner, we would’ve booked him for our entire trip. He drove us from Galway to Killarney, Killarney to Kinsale, and Kinsale to Kilkenny. On all three trips he took scenic routes to allow us to take pictures, stopped for refreshments and food, and took us to the most lovely, unexpected castles, views, and towns. He even went to the pharmacy while we were on lunch to get me allergy medicine while I was feeling stuffy. Would recommend Mike and his company over and over again!!

The Killarney Driver is a must!!!

A simple five star review doesn't seem anywhere near adequate for Michael, The Killarney Driver! A ten star review seems much more in line with the amount of service you receive! From the first moment we met Michael we felt as though we were in really good hands. By the time we parted ways I felt as though we made a forever friend in Ireland. Michael is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the entire country. An excellent conversationalist, Michael makes a long drive an extremely enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend his services enough. Because of Michael, we are able to visit some amazing areas in Ireland and we also made some unexpected stops along the way (I would name them but I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise). We were with Michael all day but it seemed to go by so quickly. This is because Michael is such an enjoyable person to be around. Do yourself a huge favor and book The Killarney Driver on your next visit to Ireland. I promise that it will be the very best decision of your visit to this amazing county. Don't delay though, I'm sure he books up fast.

If we could have given Michael a 10 out of 5 we would have. We are a family of 7 , parents and children in their mid-late 20’s and by the end of our trip Michael became our eighth family member. He was knowledgeable, kind humorous and flexible. We traveled from Dublin to Galway over 6 days. He recommended shops, restaurants and filled us with Irish history. We highly recommend Michael and we look forward to using his services on our next trip.

Superb bloke and service

Michael couldn’t have done anymore for us. He was brilliant and gave us some great places to go and see in the area and his knowledge was unreal. He even helped us when we weren’t with him, giving us great ideas and telling us where to go in beautiful Killarney. Couldn’t have ask for a better experience or bloke to meet.

Fantastic Tour Driver

We spent a few days traveling with Michael and he was absolutely incredible! He was very accommodating traveling with our young child and went out of his way to plan special stops for us along the way. The car was great and had plenty of room and he is a fantastic and safe driver. Highly recommend!

Fabulous driver

Michael added both convenience and fun to our trip. He drove us on two occasions and both trips were lovely. He picked us up in Kinsale and drove us to Dingle and then picked us up in Dingle and drove us to Ennis. He is a professional driver who knows the country and the roads very well. He was on time, the vehicle was in pristine condition and he shared his love and knowledge of Ireland with us on both trips. He was very concerned with our comfort, offering stops along the way. In addition, he went out of his way to show us beautiful sights with stops along the journey. We enjoyed his company too, sharing stories and insights into the Irish economy, healthcare and ever changing weather. We shared some funny personal stores too which adds to the craic we crave when we visit Ireland. It was just a pleasure getting to know Michael and being driven in comfort all around Ireland.

Amazing private tour of beautiful Ireland!

In early September we met Michael Blake from Killarney Driver when he picked us up from our Dublin hotel for a 3-day tour along the western coast of Ireland. He drove us to and around Galway, up through Connemara, through The Burren, along the Cliffs of Moher, stopped by Bunratty Castle and on down to Killarney. Michael was professional, personable, extremely knowledgable, informative and fun to be with. He kept us on track each day to complete the items on our itinerary, recommended many photo ops, sites and restaurants, and even made reservations for us. He was a safe driver, had a comfortable van and even had Wi-Fi. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone wanting an interesting, comfortable and memorable private tour of Ireland.
